Building a Stronger Future for Supportive Housing: Lessons Learned from Nationwide Community Conversations
This report captures on‑the‑ground perspectives from more than 100 tenants, service providers, property managers, developers, funders, and government leaders across the country.
Convened by the National Alliance to End Homelessness and CSH in 2024–2025, these conversations highlight both the transformative impact of supportive housing and the growing challenges facing the field—including funding constraints, workforce shortages, housing availability, and access to services.
The report lifts up promising practices from varied communities and offers policy considerations to help ensure supportive housing remains a stable, effective solution for people with the greatest needs.
